Travel Program

1° DayMILAN, arrival

Once arrived in Milan Airport, after the luggage claim area, we will meet our representative and find our private bus to take us into the city.

If the arrival time of the flight allows it, we will arrange half day tour of the city visiting the main highlights including the Victor Emanuel Gallery, the Duomo, the Sforzesco  Castle, la Scala Opera House, with an expert local guide.

After the tour we will take the private bus and head to the hotel for check in.

Overnight in Milan.

2° Day MILAN – BUSSETO (Km 105) – PARMA (Km 45)

Time to continue our exploration of Italy, today we go to Parma.
We will have breakfast at the hotel before checking out.

We start traveling South-East towards Parma, on the way we will stop in Busseto for a visit to the birthplace of famous Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi.

The day continues with a stop for a tasting of the world-famous Parmesan cheese and Parma Ham.
The traveling continues until we reach our final destination for today, Parma, where we will check in at the hotel.
Overnight in Parma.

3° Day PARMA – MODENA (Km 65) – MARANELLO (Km 25) – PARMA (Km 75)

Time to get excited, today you will get to know Modena!
We will have breakfast at the hotel before heading out for a full day of tours.

In the morning we begin with a walking tour of Parma including: the Romanesque style cathedral, the bell tower and the octagonal baptistery, made from Verona’s pink marble.

We then take the private bus and head to Modena to enjoy a tasting of balsamic vinegar and learn everything about this typical Italian product.

The day is not over yet, after a short bus ride we arrive in Maranello, birthplace of Ferrari, for an exciting visit to the Ferrari Gallery.

After the visit we head back to Parma.
Overnight in Parma.

4° Day PARMA - PISA (Km 180) – FLORENCE (Km 90)

Time to say good bye to Parma and move to your next destination, Tuscany!
We will have breakfast at the hotel before checking out. In the morning we will board our private bus and travel South crossing the Emilia-Romagna region.

On our way to Florence we will stop in Pisa, famous all over the world for its Leaning Tower.

We will have free time in Piazza dei Miracoli to admire the Tower up close. Don’t forget to take those must have photos!

After we will board the bus and drive to Florence, the cradle of Renaissance! Upon arrival we will meet an expert local guide we will start our walking tour of Florence’s masterpieces.

We will walk by and learn about Piazza della Signoria with its Neptune Fountain and Palazzo Vecchio, the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral which houses Michelangelo’s unfinished Pietà and the Baptistery with Ghiberti’s famous Gates of Paradise.

After the tour we will head over the hotel for check in.

5° Day FLORENCE – VICCHIOMAGGIO (Km 30) – MONTEPULCIANO (Km 125) – FLORENCE (Km 110)

Have a healthy breakfast and get your camera ready, today we explore Tuscany by visiting two wineries!
We start our day with a private bus ride to Castello Vicchiomaggio where we will have a tour of the vineyard, visit the canteen and of course the best part, taste some amazing Chianti wine accompanied with some local antipasti.

After some time to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape we board the bus and head South to our next stop for the day, Montepulciano.

After about one-hour ride we arrive in Montepulciano, land of the famous Brunello wine.
Time to fully immerse ourselves with the locals, and the best way to do it is visiting a local family.
We will visit a family and their farm, try local food and taste some more wine.

After some time to relax with a full belly we will have time to purchase some local products before boarding the private bus and head back to Florence.
Overnight in Florence.

6° Day FLORENCE – ORVIETO (Km 165) – ROME (Km 120)

Say goodbye to Tuscany, today we head to Rome, The Eternal City!
We will have breakfast at the hotel before checking out and travel with our private bus North across Lazio and Umbria region, called the green heart of Italy. On the way we will stop to visit Orvieto, a medieval town situated on top of a rock, where we can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

We meet our local guide ad start the tour of the city, including the Cathedral, a masterpiece of Italian Gothic architecture. Tour ended, we will have free time for a stroll along the narrow streets.
By mid-afternoon we will board the bus and continue to Rome. We arrive directly at the hotel for check in.
Overnight in Rome.

7° Day ROME (ANCIENT AND BAROQUE ROME)

Time to get excited, today you explore Rome!

We will have breakfast at the hotel before heading out for a full day of tours.
In the morning we begin our discovery of the eternal City starting from Ancient Rome, we will reach by private bus the Coliseum, visit the arena and walk across the Roman Forum, pass by Arches of Constantine and Titus and finish by the Capitol Hill.
We will learn the history, culture, architecture of this great civilization that set the foundation for Western culture.
The day continues with a walking tour through Baroque Rome including: Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Piazza Navona.
We will admire and learn about the architectural masterpieces that made Rome famous throughout the centuries after the fall of the Roman Empire.

After the tour we will catch up with our private bus back to the Hotel.
Overnight in Rome.

8° Day ROME (VATICAN)

Another fantastic day of discovery awaits, today we will visit the Vatican!
We will have breakfast at the hotel before the tour and take our private bus to the Vatican Museums.

The museum is amongst the greatest in the world with an average of 30.000 visitors a day. The Museum features art, manufacts, relics and objects from different eras and cultures of the world. The highlight of the tour is undoubtedly the Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo’s frescos, recently restored to their full splendor.

In the afternoon we are free to explore the city on our own, buy the last souvenirs for friends and family or perhaps visit one of the spots we fell in love with from the previous tours.
Overnight in Rome.

9° Day ROME – POMPEII (Km 245) – ROMA (Km 245)

The adventure continues today we visit Pompeii!
We will have breakfast at the hotel hop on our private bus we will drive South towards Pompeii, the best-preserved Roman settlements ever discovered.
Back in the days it was a wealthy Roman town, but in 79 AD a massive eruption from Mount Vesuvius completely buried the city and its inhabitants in ash.

Upon arrival, we will meet an expert local guide to start a tour of the archeological site.
Once everyone is ready, we will hop on the private bus and head back to Rome.
Overnight in Rome.

10° Day ROME, departure

This morning, after breakfast we check out of our hotel and transfer to the Airport for our return flight or extend your stay in Italy.
